EAST SIANG:  On 5th October 2021 a video surfaced on social media pertaining to the Boundary dispute between two communities. The region is an Idu-Mishmi village named Aohali which the Adi community believed to have been a  Silluk's land. The video doesn't prove the actual happening of the event, however, it mentioned "Encroachment" as its caption.

Why in the News

Abruptly a video that was out on social media on 5th October 2021, gave a short nerve-wracking message to the communities living in the vicinity of Mebo Circle of East Siang district and elsewhere, wherein people were seen gathered around the National Highway. It seemed to have highlighted that the masses had gathered there for discussion and opinion over the encroachment issue.

The encroachment was alleged by an uploader that the Adi community had encroached a part of the land which actually comes under Aohali an Idu-Mishmi Village, in East Siang district.

However the actual reality is still yet to be known, but the voice in the video was heard saying "video kyu lerai, tumhara Mobile ko fardega"

The region is an Idu–Mishmi village named Aohali, and its neighbouring ADI village silluk which comes under Mebo Circle of East Siang District.
