Truck Driver who fled the scene ramming the vehicle of Former IMC councillor Tai Tasung to be produced today
BANDERDEWA: Lately, on the 12th of November, in a fatal road accident the former councillor of Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC), Tai Tasung lost his precious life. The tragedy took place in the CCF colony Banderdewa.

The former councillor was reportedly travelling in his car when it hit the truck coming from the opposite direction near Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) Colony, Banderdewa.
As per the statement of Banderdewa (Assam) Police Station, In-charge OC Raju Duwara, The driver of the truck fled the scene on Friday, however today on 14th of November he shall produce himself to the police station.
A case under section 279/304A IPC has been registered at Bihpuria PS.
The deceased mortal remains shall be given proper rites by the family member. Late Tasung was supposedly the first elected councillor of the IMC and was also a member of the Baderdewa Market Welfare Association where he served as a Vice President.
