According to ANI reports, the popular comedian, Raju Srivastava is currently on a ventilator in the intensive care unit at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. It’s been a while since the comedian has been in a critical condition and is showing no signs of improvement.

Raju Srivastava suffered a cardiac arrest while working out at the gym on August 10. According to reports, he was experiencing chest pain while he was running on the treadmill and collapsed thereafter. The trainer then immediately rushed him to the hospital. Post which, Raju underwent an angioplasty.

Raju Srivastava’s family members have earlier issued a statement about his health, asking everyone to pray for his health and not believe in any rumours.

“Raju Srivastava Ji’s health is stable and doctors are treating him. Please ignore any kind of rumours. Kindly pray for him,” tweeted the family of Raju Srivastava.

The 58 year old is best known for his works in Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa etc. He has also appeared in many reality shows like Bigg Boss Season 3, and as a stand-up comedian on the show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
