JEE Advanced 2023 announced- Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy from Hyderabad tops the examination.
The Indian Institute of Technology/ IIT Guwahati today announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination or JEE Advanced 2023.
Reportedly, 1,89,744 candidates have appeared in the exams, out of which, 43,773 were declared qualified.
Among the qualified candidates, Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy of Hyderabad zone secured the top position in the Common Rank List (CRL). He secured 341 marks out of 360.
While Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Sree of the same zone bagged the top rank amongst the female candidates. She secured 298 marks out of 360 and her overall all-India rank is 56.
This year, most candidates have qualified from the Hyderabad zone, that is, 10,432.
The zone-wise break up of top 500 are as follows -
IIT Hyderabad- 174
Delhi- 120
Bombay- 100
Roorkee- 46
Kharagpur- 37
Kanpur- 16
Guwahati- 4
Candidates who make through the qualifying cut-off will then appear for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority or JoSAA counselling which is scheduled to begin on June 19 at 10 am.
The counselling will further help the students to get admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs and more.
The JEE Advanced 2023 was conducted on June 4. Candidate response sheets were available from June 9 and the provisional answer key was released June 11. Students were allowed to raise objections till 5 pm of June 12.
Students who appeared for the exams can avail their results on the official website jeeadv.ac.in.
