Assam Government to refund the Assam Direct Recruitment examination application fee if candidate fails to qualify the exam.

Assam Chief Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday announced that the Grade III & Grade IV Assam Direct Recruitment examination's application fees will be refunded to the candidates who fails to qualify in the examination through the same respective bank accounts they have applied from.
"All those candidates who do not qualify in the exams will get back their fees. The fees will be returned to their bank accounts after the results are declared. We will keep the fees of only those candidates who pass the exam,” the CM said.
Further, CM states that the result if possible will be declared within a month.
The Grade III & Grade IV Assam Direct Recruitment examination was conducted on August 21, and 28, and the last one is scheduled to be conducted on September 11.
Reportedly, about 9 lakh candidates have appeared in the examination which took place in 25 districts of Assam.
Earlier, it was announced that mobile internet will be shut down during the day of the examination in and within a 100-meter radius of the examination center to conduct a smooth recruitment exam. Also, he asked all the DCs and SPs in every district to adhere to these including taking adequate security measures in the examination centers.
