‘Adipursh’ announces to reserve a seat for Lord Hanuman without selling it.
In recent times, we often come across Bollywood celebrities in order to be blessed with a blockbuster movie offers prayer in famous temples across the country just days before the release of their movies.
According to the general public, this culture must have been going on from ages but recently, it has become more of a trend than a genuine temple visit.
One such religious act which caught attention of many is related to the soon to be released movie Adipurush starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon among others.
Reportedly, the film, Adipurush, a mythological drama based on the epic Ramayana has reserved a seat in every theatre for lord Hanuman without selling it.
“Lord Hanuman appears wherever the Ramayana is recited. It is our belief. Respecting this belief, every theatre screening Prabhas' Rama-starrer Adipurush will reserve one seat for Lord Hanuman without selling it. Hear the history of paying respects to the greatest devotee of Rama. We started this great work in an unknown way. We all must see the Adipurusha built with great grandeur and grandeur in the presence of Lord Hanuman," the Twitter post read.
Some viewers have claimed it as a marketing strategy and has asked not to fall for these absurdity while some made funny comments like, "Good decision, Hanuman ji will call his vanara friends also as most seats will be empty."
Apart from Kriti Sanon and Prabhas, the movie will have a stellar supporting cast, consisting of Saif Ali Khan ( who essays the role of the demonic king Ravana), Sunny Singh, Vatsal Sheth, Sonal Chauhan, etc.
Directed by Om Raut, the movie is made on a budget of Rs 500 crore and is one of the most expensive films made till date.
The film will be screened in five Indian languages, namely, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and is set to hit the theatres on June 16.
The film will also premiere on June 13 at the 2023 edition of the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
