INTERNATIONAL: In the past week various nations have been debating on boycotting the Beijing Olympics of 2022.  Countries like the United States, Austria, UK, etc have been boycotting it for the past few months however in India, in a few pockets, the voice against the Beijing Olympics 2022 could be heard as well. Former MP and present MLA Ruksin, Ninong Ering had also voiced against the same despite a majority.

Amidst the boycotts, Russian counterparts expressed a positive reaction towards the Beijing Olympic 2022.

But the baffling question is why the Countries are boycotting the Beijing Olympics of 2022?

The boycott of Beijing Olmycis 2022 is on the pretext of the unsound Diplomatic relations between China & the countries boycotting it. Recently few countries condemned China's aggressive policy towards its citizens, and Congress party leaders in India equally slammed the CCP despite no support from the ruling party. 

The Beijing Olympic 2022 shall commence from the 4th of February to the 20th of February 2022.

What is the origin of its Boycott?

The row over the Chinese Tennis Player Peng Shui was brought in, wherein the nations like US, UK Canada, and Austria announced a diplomatic boycott against the Chinese aggressive nature towards its  citizen,

The Tennis player was reported to have been sexually assaulted by the Chinese top Communist party, and it created a sense of insecurity among the players, and the sudden disappearance of Peng created a hullaballoo among the diplomats.

The Women’s Tennis Association said last week it was pulling its tournaments out of China because of concern for Peng’s safety.
