We condemn the breach of trust by the Chairman Kora community for the Galo Dignity Rally, expressed the People of Likabali
Likabali: On 28th September 2021 the denizens of Likabali stormed into the streets of Likabali town pertaining to the demand for immediate exclusion of resolution II, taken during the Galo Dignity Rally held at Nari.
Why on the News?
On September 15, 2021, The rally was organized under the banner of the Core Committee on Kora (LSD) issue, spearheaded by the Galo Peoples’ Federation under the supervision of GWS.
The chairman of the core committee on the LSD (Kora Circle) issue Nyadar Loya, informed that during the rally the committee adopted three resolutions.
· To resolve Arunachal Pradesh Reorganization of Districts (Amendment) Act 2013 and the consequent notification 2014 of the government of Arunachal Pradesh to be implemented in totality
· To to approach GoAP for declaring the appointed day of the creation of the Lower Siang district accordingly
· Nullification of the report of the group of ministers and any committee and status-quo imposed upon any village/circle of the Arunachal Pradesh (Reorganization of Districts) (Amendment) Act 2013.
