UPSC CSE Prelims 2023 results out; Over 25 candidates from Arunachal Pradesh cleared the examination.

 

The Union Service Public Commission on Monday released the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2023 results.

According to the official result list, 14,624 candidates in total have qualified for the 2023 civil services preliminary examination.

Among the 14, 624 qualified candidates, as many as 30 candidates from Arunachal Pradesh have cleared the examination.

Thirty of the candidates from Arunachal Pradesh who cleared UPSC CSE Prelims are Austin Tayeng, Bengia Taji, Bullo Manku, Chanya Rai, Chibi Lombi, Chow Kananda Namchoom, Chownein Maio, Duge Buchi, Goden Jilen, Guni Pabin, Imar Ete, Kalung Tam, Kanna Riba, Kaling Mize, Kenzar Bagra, Lod Topo, Mukbang Pertin, Ngajum Bogo, Ngalut Gongo, Nido Kalo, Nyatum Doke, Osunam Borang, Passang Tsering, Sedan Wangsu, Sharap Dorjee Philley, Tadar Depi, Tagru Tatu, Tailyang Tomo, Toku Aku and Zing Messar. (Note-The candidates names are written alphabetically and not according to their respective scores in the said exams).

“The candidature of these candidates is provisional. In accordance with the rules of the examination, all these candidates have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the civil services (main) examination, 2023,” the official press release stated.

It said that the dates and important instructions for filling up the DAF-I and its submission will be announced in due course on the website of the commission.

The release further stated that the marks, cut off marks and answer keys of CS (P) Examination, 2023 will be uploaded on the Commission’s website i.e. https://upsc.gov.in only after the entire process of the Civil Services Examination, 2023 is over i.e. after the declaration of UPSC Civil Services mains.

The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2023 was held on May 28, 2023 and one can access their results at the official website of UPSC by simply visiting upsc.gov.in, where the qualified candidate's roll number along with their names have been made public.

The qualified applicants will then have to appear for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, which is scheduled to take place on September 15, 2023.
