Sex, a sport now? Sweden declares sex as a sport and is going to organise its first ever European Sex Championship next week.

When talking about sex openly is a taboo in many parts of the world, Sweden officially declares sex as a sport and also hosting its first-ever sex championships starting next week.

The first ever European Sex Championship will start on 8 June organised by the Swedish Sex Federation and will stretch upto six weeks with participants engaging in sexual activities from 45 minutes to 1 hour daily for each match or will engage in sex sessions/ activities which can go up to six hours daily.

The winners will be decided by a panel of judges and the audience ratings.

However the final decision on the winners will  be determined by considering 16 factors from "Seduction of a competitor/athlete" to " The couple who have been overall most engaged during the competition, as well as most artistic according to the Kama Sutra and most popular with the jury and audience."

In each factors, the participants can get a score between 5 to 10 points except in last one, participants "can get from 10 to 20 points and in some cases double or triple points if the audience votes the competitor as an extremely good competitor/athlete."

Reportedly, for now 20 participants from different countries have applied for the championship and the Swedish Sex Federation covers all costs of the contestants.

Accordingly to the Swedish Sex Federation, the reason behind organizing such an event is because the federation believes in gender equality.

In its official page, it stated that "one of the most important drives that SSF fights for is strong opposition to men's dominance over women."

It stated that "Sex is one of the few sports or the only sport that women dominate on almost every level. It is a heavy blow to men who have stigmatized women for thousands of years. Women are more superior in sex as a sport than any other sport."

It added that "Women dominate and are better in almost all branches than men, which creates a strong resistance among a wide audience that still wants men's dominance over women."

The organisation is all about sex education and uproot the stigmatization of sex.

The live broadcast of the championship will be on www.livesexhouse.com website. Interested competitors can apply to the email: info@swedishsexfederation.com.

Dragan Bratych, president of the Swedish Federation of Sex, expressed his belief that the recognition of sex as a sport was inevitable. He highlighted the potential for physical and mental well-being through sexual activity, emphasizing the importance of training

“Just like any other sport, achieving desired results in sex requires training. Therefore, it is only logical for people to start competing in this domain as well,” Bratych explained to the media.
