Renowned actor Adil Hussain bagged the Best Actor award for two of his films, "Foot Prints On Water" and "Max Min Meozaki" at the IndoGerman Film Week 2023.

The actor also announced that his film "Foot Prints On Water" directed by Nathalia Syam was awarded the Best Debut Film Award at the Indo-German Film Week 2023. While his other film, "Max, Min & Meowzaki", a film by Padmakumar M was awarded the Best Film award.

"Foot Prints On Water" directed by Nathalia Syam, a British feature film is a thriller and the story revolves around an illegal immigrant father in the UK who looks for his missing daughter while trying to avoid the police radar. The film stars Adil Hussain, Nimisha Sajayan, Antonio Aakeel and others.

The film has already won several awards Internationally.

While "Max, Min & Meowzaki" directed by Padmakumar M is a comedy starring Nafisa Ali, Mandira Bedi, Adil Hussain and others.

Adil Hussain is known for his work in many popular Indian Independent Cinemas and also in mainstream Bollywood cinemas like English Vinglish opposite Sridevi, and art house cinemas as well as international films like Life of Pi, The Reluctant Fundamentalist etc.

Hussain received National Film Awards (Special Jury) at the 2017 National Film Awards for "Hotel Salvation" and "Maj Rati Keteki".

He has worked in films of several languages which includes English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam, Norwegian and French.
