Fourth Edition of Namdapha Butterly Meet concludes  at Namdapha National Park MIAO
MIAO: Arunachal is home to thousands of flora and fauna that would attract many environment and biodiversity lovers around the globe. On 29th Sep 2021, the fourth edition of Namdapha Butterfly Meet was held wherein rare species of butterflies were captured on cameras and diaries. It has been reported that about 212 Species of Butterflies were spotted and discovered during the meet.

Why in the News?
Society for Education and Environmental Development, North East Institute of Folk Medicine, Pasighat and Namdapha National Park organized a cleanliness drive while on the butterfly meet wherein the aforesaid 212 species of butterflies were supposedly discovered.
Rare and beautiful butterflies, like Safron, Koh-i-noor, Yellow Veined Lancer, Zigzag flat, and more were recorded during the meet.
