 Konyak Union expressed grim despondence over the Union Home Minister's Statement in the Oting Incident
NAGALAND: The Konyak union in Nagaland on the 11th of December 2021 conducted a peaceful rally, slamming the statement of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The rally witnessed the participation of local youths from the Konyak union and its other frontal organization.

The streets in Nagaland were visible with masses protesting against the incident that occurred in Oting village of Mon district. 
"We want justice, and we are not terrorists" like slogans were heard bellowing out of the peaceful protester in the state of Nagaland today. With a heavy and saddened hearts the people of Konyak community added with various others joined the protest march and expressed grim despondence towards the Union Home Minister Shah.

Earlier Shah had stated  the vehicle “was signaled to stop” and was fired upon after it “tried to flee.” However, the victim who survived had stated “We were not signaled to stop. They killed us directly. We were not trying to flee…we were just in the vehicle.”

"Amit Shah’s statement is totally misleading, indigestible, and false"_bellowed the representatives from the  Konyak Union.

The Union had alleged that the remark bestowed by Shah is akin to Home Minister being more sided and inclined towards the arm force and trying to eye-wash the Oting incident.
