Khandu pays attention to the challenging life of high altitude Yak grazers during his visit at Lubrang's Yak Mela

STATE: Lately on the 18th of November Hon'ble Pema Khandu accompanied by Hon'ble Union Minister of Law & Justice Shri Kiren Rijiju had set their feet on the land of high altitude Yak grazers at Lubrang, West Kameng district, wherein they heed their attention towards the challenging life of the Yak grazing community viz the Brokpas.
The 7th Yak Mela here at Lubrang was inaugurated flamboyantly by the Chief Minister in the presence of the Law Minister. The event is organized by ICAR- National Research Center (NRC) on Yak to promote sustainable practices in Yak rearing and provide solutions to the problems faced by indigenous Yak herders.
