State: Lately, the Hon'ble MLA, Nari-Koyu, addressed the media pertaining to the most tussled debate that has been eminent in the central part of Arunachal Pradesh, adjoining Lower Siang and East Siang district, viz the Kora/Korang issue.

The Hon'ble MLA Rina clarified that the issue shall be taken up by the Khandu-led government as per the law.

"There is no fight among the brothers, there is only some different point of opinion and that is the reason both have been engulfed in a bone of contention" added Rina

Rina also urged that the community on either side to avoid speaking much and rather let the law prevail which would result as per the requirement.

Rina was seen addressing  the Capital News  wherein he spoke, "Jab appointed date denge dono circle ka admi ko saath bethna parega, aur pakka hum apas me nahi larenge, jo Act he usko sida lagu karna chaiye "

Background

The issue pertaining to the controversial settlement of which district Kora/Korang circle falls under, the Hage Tari Committee (HTC), comprising East Siang DC Dr Kinny Singh and former Lower Siang DC AK Singh as members.

In the presence of the SPs of East Siang and Lower Siang districts,The public hearings were held at Kora/Korang, Mane, Sido, and Liping villages under full security to avoid uncertainty and unprecedented calamities.
