Sikkim's Saramsa Garden was a spectacle of grace and glamour as Kenei Ritse of Nagaland was crowned Miss North East 2023. The ceremony, enriched with the presence of Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang, also celebrated the notable achievements of Anamika Borah from Assam and Jennifer Lalrinzuali from Mizoram, who were proudly titled first and second runners-up, respectively.

The pageant's radiance was further amplified by the representatives from Arunachal Pradesh. Rachel Aran, Kingfisher Miss Arunachal first runner-up secured the Miss Multimedia subtitle, showcasing her engaging personality and media savviness. In addition, the accolade of Miss Glamours was deservedly awarded to the striking Ibi Kena, Miss Arunachal 2nd runner-up another gem from Arunachal Pradesh, admired for her poise and beauty.

The winners emerged as symbols of the rich tapestry of cultural diversity that defines the North East. While Kenei Ritse’s victory followed her illustrious titles from previous years, Anamika Borah and Jennifer Lalrinzuali's achievements underscored the array of talents that the pageant brings to the fore each year.

In a simultaneous celebration, the 'Sikkim Awards' were presented, recognizing individuals for outstanding contributions across various sectors, further highlighting the evening's significance as a showcase of the region's talents and potential.

The Chief Minister praised the Miss Northeast 2023 event and the Sikkim Awards for fostering unity and showcasing the cultural diversity that encapsulates the spirit of the North Eastern states.
