Durga Puja ends adhering to the norms provided by the Commissioner ,IMC
LEKHI: Durga Puja ends with soulful immersion of Idol/Pratimas of the Goddess Durga in the designated water tank area temporarily provided by the Itanagar Municipal Corporation. The immersion witnessed hundreds of devotees and people who came all the way from ICR for the final immersion of their God.

On 12th October the commissioner IMC had issued a notification wherein the immersion of idols/pratimas was provided, the Durga Puja committee had a fruitful consultation with the Commissioner IMC, and keeping in mind of the environmental pollution, the committee had accepted the designated area for the immersion of idols.
