25 year old from Bihar dies after eating 150 momos.
Ever since we are taught to eat, it is always advised to chew food slowly and avoid overeating as it causes indigestion, choking etc which can be lethal at times.
A perfect example of not following the correct way of eating is the recent death of a 25-year-old man from Bihar's Gopalganj district who allegedly died after he ate 150 momos.
Reportedly, the 25 year old participated in a momo-eating challenge of Rs 1,000 with his friends on Thursday.
The man, identified as Vipin Kumar Paswan was feeling sick after eating 100 momos yet he didn't stop and continued eating the momos only to pass out after eating the 150th momo.
His friends initially thought Vipin was faking it but soon realised he was unresponsive and immediately took him to a private hospital.
However, the doctor declared him as brought dead.
According to a report by the Times Of India, the deceased’s family claimed that Vipin's friends are behind his death.
They said he was poisoned by his friends and abandoned him in the vicinity of a hospital.
"Two friends of Vipin took him away from his shop on Thursday on the pretext of eating momos. They poisoned and killed him. They did not even inform us about the death. Some people saw the body lying on the footpath and informed us," Vipin's father, Bishun Kumar Paswan, said.
